SAL VIVIANO “… a luxuriant Vocalist with effortless style…” (NEW YORK TIMES ) has sung over 700 Pops Concerts with 200+ Symphony Orchestras Worldwide. A Detroit native, he earned his Union Cards in Chicago, after College (Eastern Illinois University, on a Football Scholarship and winning a National Championship). On Broadway, Sal made his debut in THE THREE MUSKETEERS (1984), and co-starred in ROMANCE / ROMANCE, CITY OF ANGELS, FALSETTOS, THE LIFE, and THE FULL MONTY. Off-Broadway, Viviano costarred in CLOSER THAN EVER*(BROADWAY WORLD AWARD - BestbActor; Off-Broadway Alliance Award); THE BIG TIME; GOLF, THE MUSICAL* (BACKSTAGE AWARD - Best Actor); BEAU JEST (Word-of-Mouth Award); CATHER COUNTY*; WEIRD ROMANCE*; CATCH ME IF I FALL*; BROADWAY JUKEBOX; and HAMLET, THE OPERA (for Joseph Papp).… On Tour he’s starred in CHICAGO; EVITA; JOSEPH AND THE…. DREAMCOAT; ANYTHING GOES!; THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE; HAIR; SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (HELEN HAYES AWARD - Best Actor nom.). In New York, Viviano also starred as Billy Flynn in CHICAGO. On Film, he starred in BLACK ROSES*, and THE JITTERS; recorded songs for LEGALLY BLONDE 2*; SPIKE OF BENSONHURST*; and LIFE WITH MIKEY*. The ‘highlight’ of his TVcredits: VanGogh in Disney’s OUT OF THE BOX (Parent’s Choice Award)… Viviano has introduced and Recorded new Songs for Cy Coleman, Burton Lane, Jule Styne, Alan Jay Lerner, Sheldon Harnick, Michel Legrand, E.Y. Harburg, Stephen Schwartz, Ervin Drake, Alan Menken, Marvin Hamlisch, Bob Merrill, Tom Jones, Harvey Schmidt, Michael Stewart, Stephen Sondheim, Jack Lawrence, Leonard Bernstein, Meredith Willson, and Irving Berlin chose him to introduce/record the last song he ever wrote and
