Predominantly a classical pianist, in his concerts Axel Quincke boldly mixes genres in wild and fascinating improvisations that combine to create a unique soundscape. He's been invited to present live-streamed concerts at NYC's Waldorf Astoria, playing Cole Porter ́s and Frank Sinatra ́s piano. He also performs a regular live piano session at the Downtown Association, Manhattan; and has recorded Rachmaninov Piano Suite no.1 for two pianos with pianist Ignacio Gomez Bustamante. Recently, Axel was invited to perform a piano concert at UNO MAS UNO while a robot driven by Artificial Intelligence painted live on canvas while listening and responding to Quincke’s music.
