EAST END UNDERGROUND LIVE CONCERT SERIES IN ASSOCIATION WITH ART OF SONG PRESENT

Heart of a Troubadour

East End Underground Live Concert Series in association with Art of Song is proud to present Steve Washington’s LTV debut in this smooth and dazzling revue HEART OF A TROUBADOUR. Steve Washington has a romantic, hypnotic voice styled in the great tradition of Billy Eckstine, Johnny Hartman and Joe Williams - a voice of pure magic, power and nuance. This unique blend of cabaret and jazz, with a bit of the blues stirred in for good measure, showcases tunes made famous by Nat “King” Cole, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis, Jr., Johnny Mathis, Harry Belafonte, Burt Bacharach and more.

Steve enjoys meeting new audiences at home and beyond. His CD release, Right to Love, enjoyed a triumphant debut at New York City’s renowned cabaret the Metropolitan Room, resulting in multiple encore appearances internationally. Currently, Steve is the co-lead vocalist for Raggs & the AllStars (aka the SRO Orchestra) and continues to play notable venues including Blues Alley, the Carlyle Club, the Kennedy Center, the Atlas Theater, the Katzen Arts Center, the Chrysalis Amphitheater and more.
